Leeds Castle - private guided tour

Leeds Castle is one of Kent’s most recognisable heritage landmarks, rising from its moat and surrounded by extensive gardens and parkland. On this tour, you will enjoy a private guided visit before the castle opens to public visitors.

The tour explores the castle’s royal history, the glamour of Lady Baillie’s 1930s interiors, and the story of the “Castle of Queens”, including its connection with King Henry VIII and Katherine of Aragon. The gardens, yew maze and underground grotto add even more character to the visit.

Penshurst Place & Gardens

Penshurst Place is a remarkable medieval house with opulent state rooms, formal gardens and centuries of history. Once connected with King Henry VIII and later granted to the Sidney family, the house remains a historic family home with a rich collection of interiors and garden spaces.

Highlights include the grand Baron’s Hall, the Sidney family story, formal gardens and the chance to explore one of Kent’s most atmospheric historic houses.
