Man City v Brentford

Early May brings an interesting Premier League test as Manchester City host Brentford at the Etihad on Saturday 9 May 2026. On paper City have had the better of this fixture, with a 6-1-2 all-time Premier League record against Brentford, but this has not always been the straightforward home win people might expect. Brentford have already shown over the last few seasons that they can make life awkward for City, whether that is through their physical edge, quick transitions, or ability to stay in the game and strike late.

That is what makes this one intriguing. The most recent meetings have been tight, with City beating Brentford 1-0 in the league in October 2025, winning 2-0 in the Carabao Cup in December 2025, and being held to a 2-2 draw in West London in January 2025 after letting a two-goal lead slip. So even when City have controlled large parts of this matchup, Brentford have still shown they can turn it into an uncomfortable afternoon.

On Sunday we head back to the ground, where you can Immerse yourself in the City story on the Manchester City Stadium Tour and visit areas of the Stadium not usually available to the public.

What's Included?
  • Field questions with a virtual Pep Guardiola and first team players in the Press Conference Room
  • See what happens on matchdays in the Home Team dressing room, with an immersive audio-visual show
  • Feel what it’s like to walk down the famous glass players tunnel
  • Go Pitch-side and get a Pep’s-eye view of the stadium from the dug-outs
  • Walk through the multi award-winning hospitality suite The Tunnel Club
  • Understand how the players prepare for the big match in the First Team warm-up area
With opportunities for photos and souvenirs, the Manchester City Stadium Tour is a must-visit for football fans, offering an immersive experience into the heart of this iconic club. Whether you're a lifelong supporter or just curious, the tour provides a unique glimpse into the world of top-tier football.
