    Dining With Distinction offers a wonderfully special way to enjoy the charm of steam travel, combining the elegance of a traditional Pullman-style journey with a festive dining experience. As the steam-hauled train travels through the beautiful Irwell Valley, you can sit back and take in the atmosphere while enjoying a sparkling wine welcome and a beautifully served four-course meal.

    With silver service, tea or coffee and after-dinner chocolates all included, the experience feels refined without losing its warmth and character. It is the kind of occasion that feels a little different from the everyday, bringing together good food, classic railway nostalgia and lovely scenery for a memorable festive outing.

    🏘️ Lancaster & Bowness-on-Windermere

    This tour also includes time in both Lancaster and Bowness-on-Windermere, giving you the chance to enjoy two very different but equally appealing destinations. Lancaster is a historic city with plenty of character, known for its attractive streets, independent shops and rich heritage, while Bowness offers a more relaxed lakeside setting in one of the Lake District’s most loved spots.

    Bowness-on-Windermere is especially popular for its scenic setting on the shores of Lake Windermere, where you can enjoy the atmosphere, browse the shops or simply take in the beautiful surroundings. Together, these two visits add a lovely balance to the break, mixing historic charm with classic Lakeland scenery.
