    🏙️ Budapest

Budapest is one of those cities that feels instantly special because it’s split by the Danube - with grand, elegant Pest on one side and the hilltop viewpoints of Buda on the other. A classic way to take it all in is simply walking the riverfront, where you’ll get those postcard views of the Hungarian Parliament building, the bridges, and the skyline that looks especially striking in the evenings.

For the big “must see” moments, Castle Hill is hard to beat - Fisherman’s Bastion is famous for its views across the city, and the whole area has that historic, fairytale feel. If you fancy something more local and lively, the Central Market Hall is brilliant for a browse, with food stalls where you can try Hungarian classics and pick up a few tasty bits to take home. And for a proper Budapest experience, the thermal baths are what make the city unique - the kind of place you can spend a few hours simply relaxing and soaking up the atmosphere.

    🏰 Prague

Prague is the kind of city that feels like you’ve stepped into a storybook - gothic spires, grand bridges, and streets that are made for wandering. The Old Town is the heart of it, where you can soak up the atmosphere in Old Town Square and catch the famous Astronomical Clock as it comes to life on the hour, before drifting through the surrounding lanes filled with cafés, little shops, and beautiful historic buildings.

For the big “wow” sights, Charles Bridge is a must - brilliant for photos with views across the river to Prague Castle, which dominates the skyline above the city. Up at the castle complex you’ll find some of Prague’s most famous landmarks, including St Vitus Cathedral and the charming Golden Lane, and even if you just stroll the courtyards and take in the views, it’s a proper highlight of any visit.

    🎼 Vienna

Vienna has a real “grand city” feel, with imperial buildings, elegant streets, and cafés that make you want to slow down and take it all in. The historic centre is brilliant for wandering, with highlights like St Stephen’s Cathedral right in the heart of the city, and the Ringstrasse lined with landmark architecture that gives Vienna that classic, polished look.

For the big standout sights, Schönbrunn Palace is the famous one - beautiful both inside and out, and a real “this is Vienna” moment. If you fancy something more local and lively, the Naschmarkt is a great shout for a wander and a bite to eat, with a big mix of food stalls and places to sit in. And for a proper special evening, Vienna’s classical music scene is part of what makes the city unique, with venues like the Musikverein known worldwide for the atmosphere and the quality of performances.
