The Kelpies
En route, we stop at The Kelpies - two towering horse-head sculptures that stand 30 metres tall and have quickly become one of Scotland’s most iconic sights. Set within The Helix parkland, they’re an impressive tribute to the working horses of Scotland’s past and a brilliant photo opportunity before heading to the Falkirk Wheel.
The Falkirk Wheel
Get ready for a unique experience at the world’s only rotating boat lift. The Falkirk Wheel is an incredible feat of engineering that connects the Forth & Clyde and Union canals in spectacular style. You’ll enjoy a one-hour boat journey that takes you up and over the Wheel, giving you brilliant views and a real sense of how it all works. It’s smooth, surprisingly peaceful, and something you really have to see to believe. A great mix of sightseeing and engineering magic, all in one trip.
