🏨 NHOW Amsterdam RAI Hotel

nhow Amsterdam RAI is one of Amsterdam’s most distinctive hotels, designed as a stack of striking, rotated triangular sections that makes it a real skyline landmark. Inside, it leans into that design-led feel with bold interiors, lots of colour, and floor-to-ceiling windows that give you brilliant city views. Guests regularly praise the overall style, the comfort of the rooms, and the friendly, helpful service, which all adds up to a stay that feels a bit special rather than just “somewhere to sleep”.

It’s also a great base for exploring, with excellent transport links nearby and quick access into the heart of the city. On site you’ve got a lively bar and restaurant for relaxing in the evening, plus a gym if you fancy it, and practical touches like free Wi-Fi and in-room essentials that make it an easy, comfortable stay.

🚲 Amsterdam

Amsterdam is one of those cities people fall in love with quickly - scenic canals, elegant narrow houses, and neighbourhoods that are made for wandering. A lovely way to start is simply exploring the canal belt and drifting through areas like the Jordaan and the Nine Streets, where you’ll find boutique shops, cosy cafés and that classic Amsterdam atmosphere. A canal cruise is also a favourite because it lets you see the city from its best angle without feeling rushed.

If you want the famous highlights, Museumplein is the big one for culture, with the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum right there. The Anne Frank House is another key visit for many people - it’s really moving, but it does tend to sell out, so it’s worth knowing tickets are only sold through the official site. For classic city-centre sights, Dam Square is a good focal point, and if you fancy something more food-and-street-life focused, places like Albert Cuyp Market are great for an easy wander and something tasty.

Best way to spend your time - mix a couple of “headline” stops with slower exploring. Do a museum or two, balance it with a canal-side walk and a café stop, then use the trams and metro to hop between areas without wasting time. You can pay on public transport using contactless bank card or phone, which makes getting about very easy.
