Brussels

Brussels is a brilliant city for a day visit because so many of the headline sights sit close together and are easy to enjoy on foot. The Grand Place is the big must-see - one of Europe’s most impressive squares, surrounded by ornate guildhalls that feel properly grand in real life. From there it’s an easy wander to the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert for elegant window-shopping and a warm café stop, and on to the famous Manneken Pis for that quick “seen it in the photos” moment.

If you fancy something a bit more scenic, the Mont des Arts area is great for city views and photos, and it links nicely into the historic centre for a relaxed explore. Brussels is also the perfect place to treat yourself to the classics - Belgian chocolate, waffles, and a proper sit-down drink if you feel like making it a wee bit more of an occasion.

Bruges

Immerse yourself in the medieval charm of Bruges, often called the "Venice of the North" for its romantic canals and picturesque bridges. This UNESCO World Heritage city captivates visitors with its cobblestone streets, historic market squares, and stunning Gothic architecture. Take a leisurely stroll through the bustling Grote Markt, dominated by the magnificent Belfry Tower, or enjoy a peaceful canal boat ride for a unique perspective of the city.

Discover Belgian culture through its world-famous chocolate shops, traditional lace-making workshops, and cozy beer cafés serving hundreds of Belgian brews. Don't miss the chance to climb the Belfry for panoramic views, visit the serene Begijnhof, or explore the fascinating Groeningemuseum, home to an impressive collection of Flemish primitive art.

Amsterdam

Discover the enchanting city of Amsterdam on a captivating day visit. Renowned for its picturesque canals, historic architecture, and vibrant culture, Amsterdam offers a rich tapestry of experiences for every traveler.  Perhaps take a leisurely canal cruise, offering a unique perspective of the city’s iconic waterways and charming houseboats.

Stroll through the lively streets of the Jordaan district, where boutique shops, cosy cafes, and art galleries abound. Don’t miss the world-famous museums: immerse yourself in art at the Van Gogh Museum or explore history at the Anne Frank House.

Savor Dutch cuisine with a stop at a local brasserie or sample street food like stroopwafels and herring. Wander through the bustling Albert Cuyp Market for a taste of local life.

End your day with a visit to the vibrant Dam Square, the heart of Amsterdam, where historic landmarks and modern attractions converge. A day in Amsterdam promises unforgettable memories and endless discoveries.
